It’s that time of year again and we’ve been in planning mode on this one for a couple of months now. Again this will be the same type of cruise that you’ve all come to expect from us, sick roads, cool people, and a great way to end the season here in the Tri-State, but this time we’re asking for your help.

Given the downturn in the economy we all know there are people out there less fortunate that have fallen on hard times and we decided that this would be a great opportunity to give something back so this year we’re asking that everyone that attends the event bring a non-perishable item with them, Coolwater will be on hand to collect these items for an area foodbank. As an added incentive we’ve teamed up with Privat / Konig giving everyon that donates a chance to win a set of wheels. More details are listed below.

Starting Location – 1000 International Drive North
Mount Olive, NJ 07828 (same location as last year)

Start Time – Coolwater members will be on site at 8AM to begin taking donations the cruise will begin at 10:30AM so I ask that you all show up early so that we can keep things organized.

Food Drive – I think by now everyone knows the drill but what we are looking for are non-perishable items, canned vegetables, soups, boxes of cereal, shelf stable milk (Parmalat). Items will be collected in the morning and delivered to the foodbank the same day.

Raffle – Raffle tickets will be handed out to everyone that donates food that morning, we don’t want your money we want you to donate an item so we are handing out tickets based on the number of pounds donated. 1lb of food = 1 ticket, 10lbs of food = 1 arm’s length worth of tickets, bring 20lbs and you can use 2 arms and so on….

Prizes - Privat / Konig has come to the table on this one and we will have a set of 18″ Netz on hand that morning, if we draw your ticket you take them home it’s that simple (Issues with fitment, bolt pattern, offset etc…if you win please see me and we’ll work it out). The wheels will be 18×8 and the finish will be dependent upon manufacturer stock in the Long Island warehouse.

Event Shirts – We will also have event T-shirts for sale with again a portion of the proceeds going as a cash donation to the foodbank cost will be $10 your support is much appreciated. Quantities will be limited.

Stickers - Yup we will have them again this year! We are going to try and have enough on hand for everyone but again they are going to be first come first serve.
